Conducting a Search
The Search Bar:

- Type search terms into the box. These should be words or phrases related to the information you want to find. For help choosing good search terms see Search Tips and Tricks.
- Click the search button to perform a search and see the results with Web pages that match your search terms.
- Change your type of search by clicking on the choices at the top.
Types of Searches:
- Web - Searches the entire Internet regardless of the type of information that is provided on the Web page.
- Image - Searches for Web pages containing images relevant to your search terms.
- Video - Searches for video relevant to your search terms.
- News - Searches for headlines in the news by topic.
- Blogs - Searches for blogs relating to your search terms. Blogs are Web-based publications, often focused on one topic, and frequently written by one or a small number of people.
- Jobs - Searches for jobs in or around a specific area.
Note: For a Job search you need to enter your search terms as well as a location. Enter the search terms relating to the type of job in the first box (4.), enter a location (e.g. Princeton, NJ) in the second box (5.), and click Search.
The Results Page:
This is the main results area. Read titles and short descriptions of pages and select the link you wish to visit.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Next to see more results, or click on the number corresponding to the page of
results you wish to see.

- Click on a search engine tab to quickly obtain results from a different search engine.
- Sponsored links (paid advertisements) that are relevant to your search terms.
- Zuula saves your recent searches for you. Click on one of your recent searches to bring up your previous search results. Click on Remove All to clear your recent searches. Click on the trash can icon next to an individual search to remove just that search. You can show your recent searches or hide them to save space by clicking on the arrows to the right of the section
- Click on the
icon next to the links in the main results area to open the link in a new window. - Rearrange search engine tabs by clicking on the dotted section on the right side of a tab and dragging it to where you would like it placed. Placing a tab on the extreme left makes that search engine the default search engine when you perform a search.
- Click on any of your highlighted search terms here to obtain a quick definition or explanation from answers.com.
