General Preferences Tab:
Changes made in the "General" section of the Preferences section will apply to
all search types on Zuula. The following options are available to customize your Zuula search
preferences:
- Windows Options - When this checkbox is selected, clicking on a link in your Search Results will open that page in a new browser window. This option allows you to easily keep a linked page open as you return to your search results.
- Recent Searches - The following options allow you to customize your recent search preferences for all search types on Zuula.
- When the "Track recent search history" checkbox is selected, the search terms that you have used will be stored so you can easily reference previous searches.
- Your search terms can be displayed under the "Recent Searches" bar on the left side of the search results page by checking the "Show recent search history" box on the preferences page.
- If you do not want your recent searches displayed, you can uncheck the "Show recent search history" box on the preferences page. Alternatively, you can hide your recent search history directly from any Zuula search page by clicking on the arrows next to the Recent Searches on a search results page.

Selecting Search Engines for Each Search Type: (Web, Images, Video, News, Blog, Jobs)
For all search types on Zuula (Web, Images, Video, News, Blog, Jobs), you can
customize which search engines to include in your searches as well as the order you wish to have them
displayed. You can use different search engines for each of the various search types. The following information
provides instructions for adding, deleting, and rearranging your search engines.
- Adding/Deleting Search Engines - To add a search engine to your list, click and drag (continue to hold down the mouse button as you move) the appropriate search engine tab from Available Search Engines to Selected Search Engines. To remove a search engine from your list, click and drag the appropriate tab from Selected Search Engines out of the box and drop it anywhere on the page.
- Rearranging Search Engines - You can also change the order in which the search engine tabs appear on your screen. Click the appropriate search engine tab in the Selected Search Engines box and drag it to the location within the box in which you want the search engine tab to appear.
- Note: Tabs can also be reordered from the Search Results screen. Each tab has a patterned grip area on its right side. You can click this grip area of the tab and drag it to its desired location.
Safe Search
Zuula allows you to enable a Safe Search filter on Web and Image searches.
Turning the Safe Search filter on will remove most adult sites with sexually explicit content from your
search results. While Zuula can filter out most adult websites, some adult content may
occasionally appear. To enable Safe Search, click on the tab for either Web or Image searches;
then simply click the "on" button under the "Safe Search" heading.
